Rabbits and Hares are different in several ways. For example hares actually change color from winter (white) to summer (brown). Charles Darwin would be proud! This odd fact drew Linda’s attention. There are plenty of hares (and rabbits) in our area which is amazing given the population of talon birds' of prey we have around here. Being noctural is certainly an advantage.
