This painting truthfully wasn’t one of Linda’s favorites at first. I think this is because she normally doesn’t like to include backgrounds in her art. Linda says it takes the focus away from what she trying to get across. But then everyone that sees this painting loves it. Goats has become her most popular with the locals. Everyone comments on the wind-blown motion effect. This information has begun to influence some of her work. I think we will see more such backgrounds in Linda’s paintings in the future. Who knew! And oh yes … many folks around here keep goats. Very cute!
